Hajj rulings

Al Hajj Rite

Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam, is required of the able Muslim. It is considered one of the best acts of worshiping by Allah, rewarded only by heaven If accepted. Hajj is equivalent to Jihad for those unable to partake in the latter.

Hajj is completed by various actions, some of which are “Rokn”, other are “Wajeb”, and others are Sunnah.

Hajj is a rite that all prophets have completed in order to please Allah.

If you perform Hajj you will live the memories of said prophets, visit Abraham’s house, stand where they stood, do as they did, you will visit a place condidered being the flagship of Tawheed and salvation to Allah.

You will witness the Islamic nations’ unity, like Allah intended, unbound by color, language, or race.

It is Allah’s mercy that in the case of being unable to perform Hajj, whether for a sickness or even being deceased one can have someone do Hajj on their behalf.

Ibn Abbas narrated that a woman came to prophet Mohammad (PbUH) stating that her mothervowed to Allah that she would undertake Hajj, but she passed away without doing it, and asked if she (the woman) could do it instead of her mother. The prophet (PbUH) told her that she could, just asif her mother had debts she would pay them off. Finally, he stated that we should fulfill Allah’s vows, for he is the most deserved of fulfilling.
