FAQ
First: Submit your application:
- Through the website where you can choose the suitable option (Deceased – Terminal Illness or disability – Become a volunteer)
- Sending a representative to inquire.
Second: The application will be reviewed by the committee and a verdict will be delivered.
- Note: Applications are submitted directly for the deceased without the need of the Committees approval. As for the sick or unable requests, review is needed, which takes 3 business days to process where there will be a call back or a request for additional documents.
Third: Signing the contract of Hajj al badal of someone.
Fourth: Following up with the substitute (person performing the Hajj al badal) throughout the holy rites.
- With the cooperation with Islamic Institutions and Saudi Arabian Hajj companies that are recognized by the Ministry of Hajj.
- The candidate has to be legally qualified and has the Islamic knowledge of the conditions and rituals of Hajj.
- The candidate has to have performed Hajj earlier.
- The candidate must be an adult at least 18 years old.
- The candidate must meet the committee during Hajj rites to ensure executing the process.
- The substitute must undergo an oath in front of the committee or its representative stating they completed the Hajj for their client.
Ta’alof Al-Khair’s team is committed to shooting 3 videos of the person performing Haj Al-Badal and sending it (through Email, Whatsapp, or other social media) to the person delegating the Hajj. The videos and pictures are as follows:
- 1-During taking the oath and signing the binding contract to performing Haj Al-Badalfor the delegator.
- 2-During performing the holy rites and in the following specific rites; at Arafat, in Mena, and in the process of throwing the Jamrat)
- 3-Upon finishing all the rites.
The Shari’a Committee directly supervises the execution of Haj Al-Badal during the holy rites, visits the Haaj (Delegate) and follows them in the following manner: documenting their Haj Al-Badal of the names delegated to them as well as documenting the oath and the certificate:
- – Prior to undergoing the rites and atAarafat.
– During performing the rites, starting with Ihram, then at Aarafat, in Mozdalefa, and in Mena during Tashriq days, as convenient as possible.
– After finishing the rites, by meeting with them and thanking them for their efforts. - 2- The person performing Haj Al-Badal of the names delegated undertakes an oath in front of the committee or its representatives; stating that they did undertake Haj Al-Badal for the names delegated to them. In addition, a video is taken showing the Haaj’s declaring intention (Neyyeh)

Hajj can be done in the stead of the deceased, chronically ill, and the unable. Must be accepted by the committee.
A certificate that indicates the name of the person doing Hajj al badal of the applicant and the original applicant with the signature of two witnesses and the committees approval.
The corporate is obligated to sign a legal contract binding the two sides, ensuring their rights and organizing the process of Hajj.
